One of the best ways of enjoying Laplands nature is to spend some time in the woods. In Vuosku we are in the middle of the woods by the beautiful Vuoskujärvi lake. To combine these two wonderful elements we first take you for a short snowshoeing tour in the woods and continue to the lake for ice fishing. While snowshoeing you will not only enjoy the perfect peace and silence of the forest but also learn about the animals and plants living there.

In Vuosku Traditional Finnish sauna you will experience a relaxing atmosphere enjoying the hot steam in peace and quiet. Right next to the sauna we have a hot tub for you to enjoy the silence under the northern sky. And all your worries will wash away.

Starry Sky & Northern Lights Experience (4 hours)

When the sky is clear and conditions are favorable, you’ll witness the most beautiful Northern Lights that Lapland has to offer. We invite you on a journey to Lake Vuosku, where you can experience the starry sky, breathe in the fresh air, and embrace the serenity of nature.

While we can guarantee a starry sky, the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon that we cannot promise. Their appearance is in the hands of Mother Nature. However, we assure you that we will do everything possible to give you the best chance of witnessing the majestic Northern Lights!

The Starry Sky & Northern Lights Experience will be available from December, when the lake freezes, until the arrival of spring, offering you the chance to witness one of nature’s most breathtaking displays

Ice Fishing Experience (4 Hours)

  • Ice fishing experience that will last for 3 hours and it includes snacks cooked outside in a campfire. Preferably the fish if get a catch

Vuosku Arctic Experiences is located in Vuoskujärvi, Lapland. It is a 45 minute drive away from Rovaniemi city center in a perfect peace out of the city hassle. With the distance away from the city lights, you have higher chances of seeing the Northern Lights! So, keep in mind that the round trip from the city center to Vuosku takes a total of 1.5 hours. This is included in the duration of each experience.

All of our services are for small private groups and families. Services include a professional local guide and transportation from Rovaniemi city center to Vuosku and back.
